measure2improve administer the National Highways & Transport Public Satisfaction Survey.

This unique survey measures public satisfaction with highways and transport services for Highways Authorities across the UK, with detailed questions by priority area (themes), as well as information on travel behaviour. An annual postal survey, managed by Ipsos MORI, running since 2008 with nearly 500,000 members of the public responding to date.

Survey results, which are summarised by theme using Key Benchmarking Indicators (KBIs) and Benchmarking Indicators (BIs), are shared openly amongst the participants to drive improvement.

This website provides tools to analyse satisfaction scores and show trends by Authority, Region and Nationally. The reporting options include online maps to show differences in satisfaction within an Authority and across a Region.

measure2improve administer the National Household Waste & Recycling Public Satisfaction Survey

The HWR survey measures public satisfaction with waste and recycling collection and disposal services for Councils across the UK, with detailed questions about ‘doorstep’ collections of waste and recyclable materials and bulky items, as well as information on recycling behaviour and what would encourage people to recycle more. It also asks questions on use and experience of recycling centres 'the tip', and bring banks.

Survey results, which use Key Satisfaction Indicators (KSIs) and Satisfaction Indicators (SIs), are shared amongst the participating councils to help drive improvement.

The HWR website provides a secure area for participating councils that provides tools to analyse satisfaction scores and show trends by Authority, Region and Nationally. The reporting options include online maps to show differences in satisfaction within an Authority area.
